Sports bras almost never fit me. There’s typically something sticking out of somewhere that shouldn’t be. Think sausage casing. And then, to make matters more complicated, I got pregnant. In less than a month, I went up about 3 cup sizes and for the first time, and even walking became a high impact activity (according to my boobs).
I had heard about SheFit from my husband (I’m not even going to go there…) and took a look at their site. Soon after, I was getting SheFit ads for their Ultimate Sports Bra on my Instagram feed begging me to try it. At a $75 price point (discount info below), I decided to dig into the data. If it’s as customizable, supportive and comfortable as their ads and influencers claim, I might consider purchasing.
After 9+ hours of sorting through hundreds of reviews and discarding promotional content, this is my take on the SheFit Ultimate Sports Bra.

This reviewer normally has to wear 2 bras. She originally purchased the wrong size (size up!) but on her second try had a lot of success with the fit and functionality.
This is a great video because originally the reviewer thought the bra might be too small but when she adjusted the customizable bands, it worked perfectly for her.
This is a well-rounded review from a woman who normally wears a 32DD. (She purchased a medium.) The woman actually is starting her own sports bra company so I tended to trust her perspective on the bra because she was essentially reviewing her future competitor.
Overall she felt:

“I wanted to love these, but after trying multiple sizes I ended up sending them all back. Bummer because they are well made. They just didn’t work for my shape.” (6 Votes)
“Totally agree! I am in the “Bigish boobs smallish ribcage” club, and sports bras have always been impossible. I used to wear two at a time! I only have to wear one Shefit and there is absolutely no bounce. Bonus — I don’t have to dislocate a shoulder to get them on and off!
The only con is that it takes a few minutes to get it on and adjusted properly. So. Much. Velcro. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to do it, but now I have it down to a system! My way is to (1) put it on with the velcro loosened (2) zip up and cover up the zipper (3) tighten the chest strap (4) adjust the boobies into the cups as much as possible (5) tighten the shoulder straps.
It works for me! The hassle of getting it on is absolutely worth it in my opinion.” (4 Votes)

“I’m 5’8″, 245lbs with 40DDD bust and bought the 3XL size. I weight lift and its been so hard finding a good bra that works with high impact activity. This bra is very worth the money! I LOVE that straps are thick and crossed in the back so all the weight up front isn’t sitting on your shoulders. You don’t feel the zipper at all either and it doesn’t zip down while you’re working out. Plus there is hardly any jiggle when you jump and no mono-boob issue. Wow! Im going to be buying more in a few other colors.”

“It’s not marketed as a nursing bra, but YOU GUYS. It is THE BEST bra for nursing in the WORLD. I have tried almost 50 different nursing bras, all which claim “support” and “comfort” and “ease of use”, none of which legit have all three, and majority of which only last so long. Before breastfeeding, I was a 40J, while breastfeeding, I was anywhere from a 40J to a 40M depending on time of day, whether baby slept and I got engorged, after feeding, etc. I got a 6Luxe (6X-large on Amazon).…
Some tips: Loosen the straps and the band all the way, but have them velcroed. Go ahead and choose if you want racerback or “normal”. Racerback def gives even more support, naturally. Put it on like you put on a jacket/ backpack. USE THE HOOKS in the front before you zip. Then tighten the band on the bottom, have one hand on the left pulling it straight/tight, tighten at a slight angle down instead of straight across – don’t know why but this works better for me. Then do the ole lift ‘n’ separate, or bend over and get em where you want em. Then LAST, tighten up your shoulder straps to whatever is comfortable. Also – FOLLOW THE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS and USE THE LAUNDRY BAG. It will last so so so long if you do this.
If I could be in love with a bra, nursing bra, sports bra, etc. – this is it.
Pros: everything.
Cons: literally nothing. Just get it.”

“Order up a size. I’m just going to say this from the start. I ordered the suggested size (Luxe) and I have ZERO room to adjust the shoulder or chest straps…If the correct size was suggested in the first place I’m sure I’d be giving a glowing review. I wasn’t and I’m not. Again, since I’ve worn and wash it, I cannot return or exchange it.
Overall support, for the time I can wear it is nice. My boobs don’t bounce around and stay in place. I’m sure if I could wear this bra comfortably for an entire workout I wouldn’t have to worry about my boobs bouncing too much.
The overall quality of the material, closures, etc is good. If everything else fell into place, fit, size, comfort, etc, this bra would be great.
If you’re on the fence about this brand, just size up is all the advice I can give you.”
If you’re like me, you won’t buy anything without reading the worst dirt on a product. I surfaced some of the scariest, most negative reviews so you could take a peek at what people who hated the product had to say.
“Not flattering. Boobs looks like a uniboob. If that makes sense. These are not true to size.”
“First of all, you need to be a rock scientist to figure out how to get the darn thing on. Secondly, it does not run true to size. I normally wear a size medium to large. This was way too small. My boobs were busting out of the thing.”
“The size was fairly true to size- which is really the only thing positive for me. I was so disappointed after reading all the great reviews. The fabric feels terrible, not too soft and very plasticy if that makes sense to you. The shape is ok I guess. Kinda smashes everything together- which would be ok (I have 36ddd so it’s to be expected a lot of the time .).. but it’s just in a scratchy uncomfortable way. The bra seems very secure- that’s for sure- but the straps were so stiff and wide it felt like a 2×4 over the shoulder. Not for me..”
