On a scale of NOPE to Meh to Amazing, Amazing but…

TLDR
Underwear, Briefs, mens basics – Super high quality, but expensive compared to other brands. If you’re a Walmart shopper, you won’t get the appeal here. If you’re looking for a good looking, long lasting upgrade from whatever you currently wear, people love Mack Weldon and Tommy John, with the edge going to Mack Weldon.

  1. r/malefashionadvice: (Backfires) Rant on Mack Weldon Sizing/Quality with Pics “I decided to try out Mack Weldon on a whim since it seemed like they had good reviews and this has been my experience… tl;dr fit on three separate items was extremely bad to the point of the hoodie getting a refund by customer service for being defective even though the return window had passed. Sizing across items seems very inconsistent, I have completely given up on this brand.

      1. “I don’t like zippered pockets” isn’t a quality issue. Design choices (Which you could see before buying…) going again your personal preferences != quality control issues
      2. I absolutely love their airknit boxer briefs. They were my favorite after trying a whole slew of different boxers trying to find that perfect match. Just my 2¢ in case you end up with some store credit and need something to spend it on. (I will say I also like the ace sweatpants I got but I only have one pair so can’t comment on consistency)
      3. Same^, i have the airknitx + silver . Using them for 8 months. Also got an ace sweatpant which has no issues ( even after few washes).
  2. r/earwolf: Asking about their podcast ad Is Mack Weldon worth it? “Has anyone gotten underwear from them and is it worth the price of entry?”

      1. Depends on your budget. They are better then your average hanes and fruit of the looms but imo not worth getting multiple due to cost. Might be nice to have a pair of lucky undies thou.
      2. Well, it depends on if you want microbial underwear or not. If you’re sick of microbes being all up in your underwear business, then Mack Weldon is definitely the company for you.
      3. My husband bought some undies and shirts from them and they are REAL good from a purely aesthetic perspective, plus they are super soft and seem to be comfy for him.
      4. The only person I know who has tried both me undies and Mack Weldon prefers Mack Weldon for what that’s worth. (2 cents, generally)
  3. r/malefashionadvice: The Ultimate (Kinda) Boxer Brief Review – part 2 (Under Armour, Terramar, Calvin Klein, Tommy John, and Mack Weldon) (link to sheet ranking all the brands by category here) “TL;DR Tommy John tied with Mack Weldon for the top spot. Tommy John would’ve been the clear winner but the high price tag made it so they were not a standout.”

      1. I tried their boxer briefs two weeks ago. Bought 6 more pairs a day later.best underwear I’ve been able to find. Kinda pricey, but definitely worth it.
  5. r/buyitforlife: Need recommendation: Good men’s underwear “Thinking about replacing some rather ratty undies that made it through college and beyond, but probably shouldn’t have. I’m willing to spend a bit more money on them this time around, but also would expect them to be a somewhat more durable and comfortable. Boxer briefs style, and they need to be able to handle my workouts/runs (be breathable, flexible), as well as sitting on my butt all day working online), and stand up to hot water washes and heat drying (germ/smell killing).”

      1. I will die by my Mack Weldon boxers. Saxx are okay, but I only wear those if I run out of my Macks. MW are expensive, but they last a long time, breathe the best, and support the best. I was wearing Wolf Clothing Co. Jeff Boxers before I started wearing MW, but they stopped making them, sadly. Although, now I’m glad they did, because I never would have gone looking for another brand.
